Night in Bandar, Brunei's capital.





The Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque.

Turning around 180 degrees from the golden dome mosque...

The mosque was built in 1958 for 5 million dollar.



The Jame 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque in the Gadong suburb.

Built in 1992 it's the largest mosque in Brunei.























Out on the water in Kampung Ayer water village in Bandar, where half of the city's 60.000 people live.

Spotting the roof of Istana Nurul Iman, the sultan's palace, from the water. 1778 rooms, a dinner hall fitting 4000 people, twelve one-tonne chandeliers hanging from the throne room ceiling and an underground carpark for the sultans hundereds of cars.
