After walking through the mountain for an hour inside the Deer Cave you arrive at the "Garden of Eden" where the cave roof gives way to trees and plants growing inside.

The Deer Cave is home to two million bats, which all leave the cave between 4:30 and 6pm most evenings.

The bats didn't come out the first evening we were there to watch but we had more luck the second time.

The bats leaving the cave, flying like a thin rim of smoke snaking it's way across the sky.

Sometimes there were two different ribbons of bats, spiralling around eachother like DNA strings..amazing to watch.
