Messing with perspective..

Mikael hiding in the shade to do some drawings.

The front temple is a miniature of the Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

The back of the head of the 45 meter reclining Buddha statue in Wat Po.

China town.

Ko Chang

Mikael and our Ko Chang friends Anna (Sweden), Kine (Norway), Lorraine, Brenda (Ireland) and Heather (Australia).

Walked a few hours in the burning sun to get to the Nam Tok Khlong Phu waterfall in the forest.

Mikael, me and Emilie.

Not the biggest waterfall in the world but there was a nice pool of water beneath the fall where you could take a swim - very welcome after the long walk.

View from the top.

A group of young Buddhist monks came by the water fall and went swimming, playing and laughing. Find it hard to imagine monks of any other religion having as much fun. Only this person stayed up on the cliffs watching the others play..wonder why..he seemed happy anyway though and didn't mind me taking a photo.

Mikael enjoying a Luckie in the shade.

Found this Elephant trecking place when I was out driving on a moped.

Also found this one.

This friendly guy was diong a bit of everything at the Tantawan Bungaloos place we stayed at - chef, taxi, and playing his own versions of Bob Marley songs on the guitar - "No whiskey you cry.." and "Woke up in the afternoon, smile with the rising sun"..

Me and Mikael set us up with a 2 hour Elephant trek.

The Elephant wasn't following instructions very carefully...kept going off the track to rip up some banana plants every couple minutes, and on the way down a hill he ignored the path the "driver" wanted him to go and instead pushed down a small tree to make his own way down..

Me and Emilie kayaked out to the biggest of the three small islands on the photo - took about 3 hours. Met a vey nice Thai family that were also out on holiday on the island, were sharing some fruit with them on the beach and they lent us their kids snorkel sets. Then after they left when we were planning to paddle back it started to rain and thunder very heavily - could hardly see the main island any more.. Luckily a german guy came by with his motor boat and dragged our kayak back to Ko Chang.

Spider.
