-2001 - Gdansk weekend trip with Olivier

Slightly strange situation in a Gdansk restaurant. They brought in everything to our table at once, starters+main course etc. and we were probably looking kind of puzzled. A little kid started laughing when we noticed him looking at us so we started laughing too, and then his parents as well...and then the rest of the restaurant... Snapped a photo to remember the funny situation.

I like rust.

On the way to Sopot (little coast-town outside Gdansk).

The old rush-off-the-train-and-put-on-your-jacket-inside-out trick.

Vikings in Sopot.

Spoons vs. concertina.

Street salesman demonstrating his bio-energy tools.

He didn't speak that much english (although with a big fake oxford accent the little there was) so we didn't fully understand exactly what he was demonstrating. For a small sum of money he could measure your bio-energy I think the deal was. Notice Olivier's impressed face.

We had to try of course. One of the tests was to look at a green dot on one of his instruments and when you looked a meter would indicate. Could clearly hear him pressing a button to trigger the meter when I looked at the green dot. We dubbed his bio-energy-tools "random bullshit generator".

Took a boat-trip in the Gdansk industrial harbour..

Gdansk street.
